BET EXPERIENCE x BRIK LIAM (BRK)

For this project, the indie soul artist and I collaborated on style direction for his debut performance during the 2015 BET Awards. Brik was set to bless the BET Experience stage, and we agreed on a classic look infused with a modern flair. The search for the ideal prints to mix and match presented its challenges, but we settled on the perfect blazer and pants, with both tailored to achieve a slim fit.

Lesson: Here I learned the importance of successful collaboration in developing a cohesive style direction - especially when preparing for such a significant event early in an artists' career. Brik was nothing short of professional and a true gentleman during the entire process.
